I tried to offer a private settlement of repairs, IE..i take my car to an agreed repairer n other driver pays the bill, ending with goodbye n have a nice life.
BUT NOOO.. i was left a snotty message on my answering machine by her husband "on behalf of my wife".
So i just slapped a claim straight in on my angel assistance insurance n through 'helphire' i had a privately hired brand spanking new golf waiting on my driveway when i got home from work following day. She was billed for the final repair costs total + the bill for the hired car for a full month @ £90 daily..She has to present the bill to her own insurance co n make claim to settle or otherwise she has been ordered to settle her bill/s in full herself |
