My spanish wasnt great but i could get by, lots of the nurses were v helpful and tried to understand my spanglish ranting but some of them were very short with me because i wasnt fluent. Luckily for me the doctor on duty spoke good english, so i knew what was happening.

My spanish is a million times better now as my little boy goes to a totally spanish nursery and is the only english child (well he is spanish really he was born here) so i have to comunicate with his teachers and doctors etc.

Thats probably the one thing im gonna regret about moving back to england that he is missing out on learning a second language. he says as much in spanish if not more than he does in english and understands everything! Amazing really.
