Alfie's school trip | | Alfie has come home from nusrsery today with a letter for his school trip. They are going to a farm & are asking for parents to go & younger siblings too. Which in theory is good but the costs are colossal. It's £9 for children & £10.50 for adults. It will cost me £28.50!!!!!
I'm not tight but i think it's a bit much really. The coach doesn't leave school until 9.15 & returns at 3.15 approx. It takes a hour each way roughly. The school has said that if there aren't enough parents going the trip will not go ahead due to child to adult ratios. Two of my friends are going as it's just them & 1 child to pay for, & they'll take responsibilty for Alfie if needs be. I will then collect their older children along with my other son, as it isn't guaranteed that the coach will be back before the end of the school day.
It's all well & good organising trips but they should think of the consequences that it brings with it. |
