thoroughly agree babe. i had my children to bring them up the way that i see as being right, to trust their instincts, have values socially and morally (even if i have none). we are after all bringing up the children of this planets future, the parents of our grandchildren. do we want the future generations to believe that the first lesson in a childs life is that parents are the ones loving and bringing them up in a supportive family environment? or is it to be that parents are the ones that lavish us with gifts because they feel guilt at spending all their time at work so turn us into greedy spoilt little brats?
i'm not saying that is what is happening to every childe in child care but in the majority of the cases i have witnessed for myself this is true.
