hi there,

im a mum to 4 kids, my second daughter Amy whose 11 and a half, had adhd, does my head in,shes on equassym 3 times a day, and it does help, but doesnt cure the problem, weve recently moved 5 months ago to lincolnshire from essex, and she had probs at her last school, and seems to of draged them here, i thought it would be better but isnt, shes told teachers shes preg, and been raped at knife point by 16 yr old boyfreind, all complete nonsense, thank god the school knows that, im awaiting a referral from my doctors to a lincoln child peadatriain, been waiting since jan, shes got a statement of special needs that took me 2 yrs to get in essex for her, this means she goets 20 mins extra tuition a day on some subjects she finds hard.
But it makes life so hard and she drains you, i have to treT HER LIKE MY 6 YR OLD, AND THINK OF EVERYTHING FROM SCHOOL uniform for her to swim kit today etc etc, im fed up with it,
she get diasability ebenfit and carers allowance that does help.but whats worriesd me shes off to secon dary school in september, and the school shes at now says she wont cope wioth it, as she wants to control everyone, and boss everyone to be her freinds etc, shes never been invitied to a party as a younger child, and never has any freinds.

so i know how you feel , my other children havent got adhd thank god, id go mad lol.

take care
jen.
