My partner ( Of three years ) is my daughters Step father, but you would never guess that seeing how they interact with each other. He treats her as he own and as far as Niamh-Morwenna is concerned, he IS her Daddy!
I think it's quite amazing that the transition from her not having a father figure around to suddenly getting a father at the age of 6, was such a smooth one! My partner has been in her life for 2 years now, but it seems longer.
I left her biological father when she was almost 2. He doesn't support her at all, and yet here is man who makes sure she gets everything she meeds/wants and never complains about it!
