ok claire you need to sit back & take stock of your own life hun & please don't do anything silly i know first hand how soul destroying it can be for the peole around you when a person they love does something so stupid! at the moment ant prob doesn't know which way to turn give it time hun & tell him how you feel even if it does upset him it's the only way your gonna find out where you stand & how you feel.
if you really beleive that your marraige is over hun maybe you should think about getting away for a bit when things with his dad have calmed down to see how you both feel. you can't feel bad for wanting to be happy & if your relationship is not making you happy only you can do something about it.
