We have only broken down once & that was on motorway. My stepson lives just outside kettering which is roughly 80 miles from where we live & we'd took him back on a sunday tea time as normal. I was 8 month pregnant & car went boom & died on us, when stu rang breakdown company they told us it had expired, they'd sent renewal to his old house where ex lived who bionned it & didn't think to tell us, so nice! anyway had to wait for emergency tow off motorway then go to house of chap that towed us to wait to be towed home, First chap was contratcted to police so on constant call. I was scared to death i'd go into labour but not half as scared as those who towed us home. I find it quite funny now but didn't at the time |
