Default 12 weeks prem, suprise birth.....

Hi i am Nikita, i am new on this site, and i have just been reading through some of your birth stories, they are so nice!
I just wrote mine, it took me ages, then my comp froze, and i lost it all. So I am now writing it again AAGRRGGGHHH!!

So I am going to try and do this as quick as i can as my fingers are aching HA HA HA

I was only 18 when i got pregnant with my eldest, i lived at home, and it was a Sunday morn, i awoken feeling really drained and sickly, we were meant too be all going out, to a arranged trip but i felt too ill, so my mum and dad and brother and 2 sisters left the house at 11am.
I wanted too go back too sleep, but was restless so decided to have a bath to try and relax.

Just as i was about too get in, my mobile rang, so i ran too my bedroom, but missed the call, it was my partner, so i figured he would call me back, so i put the phone on the bathroom window cill.

As i got in the bath i felt a massive pain shoot through my stomach. I sat down, and it went, i was a bit freaked, i began to was my hair with the shower and it his me again, but was stronger, And as it eased ''GUSH'' i felt my water pop and burst. I began to panic, and the pain just intensified so bad, i was screaming and could feel massive pressure and the urge too push!!

I tried to reach my phone but could not. I literally dragged myself out the bath to get the phone, and held on too the sink, i dialled 999
i screamed '' please help me.... my baby is coming now... he is too tiny i am only 28 weeks... i am pushing..'' I can remember screaming my address and she was talking but i have no idea what she was saying, the pain was tearing through me.

I started pushing harder could not stop it. After what felt like forever, i heard the sirens, and my front door coming in, as they reached the door and ran it i was crippled in pain.
The Female paramedic ( Kelly) told the bloke ( Dave ) to run quick and get the preemie kit, as it here any second!!!
WHAT I screamed! She told me too push and after 4 pushes out came my tiny lifeless baby. She quickly cut the cord and rubbed him. I can remember them few seconds so clear, the silence, then he let out a huge scream, my heart pounded. Dave came up with a plastic bag, and placed the baby inside it then wrapped silver sheets on him, and placed a mask on his face and ran to the ambulance with him.

I remember screaming ''where he taking my baby'' And Kelly delivering the placenta i was wrapped up and taken to a diff ambulance he had already gone.

Anyway, he was taken to SCBU he spent 18 weeks in there, he weighed 1lb 3oz and when he left he weighed 9lb!!
He is now 3, and my amazing miracle. He is such a little fighter and god must of wanted him here for some reason!

I cannot explain the pain i felt that day, but the fear was worse, I never ever want too feel that fear for my child's life ever ever again!!
That is him in the aviator, his name is Kayden, and he is with his little brother Ashton, who is 17 weeks old now, his birth is another story!!

Nikita
