There is a teething powder that you can get and I used it on our lot..they are brilliant and work to..most chemists should supply them but best trying Boots first....they are called
ASHTON AND PARSONS INFANT TEETHING POWDERS and are usually no more than £3.50 dependent on where you go for a 20 pack. You just rub the powder on the area needed.......hope this helps
