help please?!

hi,is there anyone who can tell me or help me to upload pictures in threads like baby competitions and so on?im quite new to this whole thing so any help would be appreciated!ive tried hitting on post an image and ive put in the url address where it is meant to be,but all that show up in the message is the url address...what am i doing wrong?:confused

before the url put [img*/] and then after put [/img*] but remove the ** so basicly it would be something like [img*/]www.blah.co.uk[/img*] and then your pic will work or use ww.imageshack.us andupload it then use the forum link for upload x
