im melanie,im 23 from ireland. i have my little son who is 21 months now. thought i would join in here to share tips...my son is hitting the terrible twos so i may have some questions soon!! any way its great to be here and i hope to meet some nice people here to.

hi,thanks for your reply...im melanie though,not samantha.but all is good.
yea,my boy is sorta hitting the stage now where if you say no to him if he is doing something wrong like swinging out of the presses or washing machine door he completly throws a wobbeler,like on the floor kicking and screaming!is this the only way to teach him that he is wrong by saying no?

hi, sorry melanie must of got confused wen sendin to sum1 else sorry.
my daughter went thru that stage and very much still is unfortunately 4 me. i have tried everything my mind and book could possibly think of lol i just think she is a difficult child lol.
one that really worked for me 4 a couple of weeks till she learnt her way round it was the time out. a bit like super nannies naughty step. warn him if he ignores u sit him down tell him y hes there then leave him for 2 mins. dont try pin him down if he wont stay he'll jus kick of more walk away if u giv him 2 much attention he'll play up more.
just a tip nice to know if it works.

thanks a mill,think il give it a go.il let you know how we get on,but i think i have a problem child on my hands!!lol!he is always very very hyper,never stops...wish i had his energy! just noticed that there is a terrible twos thread going on so might have a browse round there to, any who thanks again!
