hi i'm new year. i have 3 children and i am almost 13 weeks pregnant (had my first scan today and we are really pleased)
i'm here to make some new friends and for an escape at the end of the busy day of housework, cooking, looking after the kids and the dreaded food shoppin'.
i am 26 and don't get out of the house much (not many people like to babysit 3 kids). i may have a night out once every couple of months but usually prefer to get a take away and chill in front of the tv with my partner (too exhausted to much else).
Anyway i have prob gone on but thought i should say hi and introduce myself.

i tolerate lol. they are hard work. my 8 yr old is like a stroppy teenager sometimes, my 5yr old son has this really high pitched screech and also as a few problems (he had an op on his skull when he was 9 mths old and now has problems with his speech amongst other things) he is very hyper from the second he wakes up and my 3 yr old is an expert at temper tantrums.
i cope by putting on a dvd in thier bedrooms a couple of times a week and give them a hot chocolate (warm for obvious reasons) and there is silence for an hour or so therefore i am free to read a book and drink hot chocolate or cappacino.
Some might think i'm wrong for doing it but i'm not a very outgoing person and am not very good at making new friends (esp since i moved into this house 10 months ago) so spend 90% of my week in the house so its nice to have a little escape even if we are only in different rooms.

god dont think its wrong, as i said i only have the one but somtimes i would do anything to get him to behave including the regular trip to his bedroom to watch a dvd even bribe him with the biscuit barrel lol.
what mums do for some peace eh
