how old was ur little ones...

when they first started walking. i remember ashley was 16-17 months i figured at the time she would do it when she was ready. i read peoples stories how there babies were walking between 11-14 months and ryan is 16 months on the 3rd march and is a bit of a lazy one. i try to encourage but he'd rather crawl and he just refuses when i hold onto his hands.

i did once wonder if it was like a genetic thing cuz i couldnt walk til i was 3, i had that problem with my hips that babies are tested for. but ryan and ashleys results came back ok im just having a inadequate kind of day :/ x x

lily was just under 16months, she was very lazy, but if you go to your hv they will do the check on ryan at 16 months old... i know our hv said to take lily back to see her if she wasnt walking by 16months because they would then do tests on her hips etc...

so if your worried it might be worth going to see her and seeing if she can advise! x

Mileena was an early walker... she started walking when she was 9 Months 3 Weeks & 4 days old on the 10/05/09. But in saying that she wasnt really talking a great deal... it's only been since coming to Australia that Mileena has started to say more. My friends daughter she just turned 1 today and she doesnt walk... another friend of mine her son didnt start walking til he was nearly 2... I walked at 10 months and my brother walked at 18 months... so all babies are different. If your worried about it speak to your health visitor and see what she says. But in all honesty I wouldnt really be too worried coz all babies do the same things... just at different age's. Like Mileena has only really started to understand and say more words at 19 months old where as some other babies started saying more at 14 months...

Maybe give it another month of trying to help him walk etc like you have been and see what happenes then maybe go to see your health visitor. But I think he will walk when he is ready too... have you tried like walking back and forth in front of him then helping him to do it to... sometime's them seeing it and wanting to copy us might help... coz Ryan's at the age now where he will see/hear something and copy...

maybe ur right, he likes to climb everywhere so im a bit puzzled as to why hes lazy :/ x the monkey

Awww if he is climbing then he isnt too far off walking... and when he does start walking ya gonna wish he would sit down for 5 minutes. lol I know I do...

yeah i wouldnt worry too much! as dalina said they are all different and do different things, you will find ryan is doing more than others!

Awww hun but your are doing everything ya should... your helping him and encourage him and beging the best mummy in the world... and the fact your worried is showing you are doing everything you should be... if ya know what I mean.
