i really enjoyed my pregnancy but my midwifes and doctors made it bad, nearly every appointment i had with a midwife i saw some one different, i never met my first proper midwife until the end.
on one appointment when a midwife took my blood she put the needle in to far and went through my vein, the blood went every where and it took loads of cotton wool to stop it, they put loads of plasters on and the blood kept going through, my arm swelled up so big and was black for weeks, it was horrible as i had a fear of needles already.
near the end of my pregnancy things went bad i went to my doctor for a check and he told me my baby was engaged, as did my midwife, i was really happy as i thought everything was ok, my baby kicked and moved all the time but at that point i rearly felt her and they assured me it was normal for reduced movments when they engage, then after that i didnt feel her move for days so i went back and they checked her heart beat and all was fine so they gave me a movement chart so i could monitor her but a couple of days passed and still no movement, so they sent me to the hospital to be monitered and they also ensured me everything was ok but i knew some thing wasnt right so i insisted on a 3rd scan just to be sure she was ok.
Then when i got the scan they saw that she was bent in half so her bum was where they said her head had engaged and her feet and head was at the top, they said it was lucky the saw it wen they did or if i had gone into labour and tryed to push her out it would have broke her back. they suggested a c-section or to try turn her around but as a c-section was saver for my baby i choose that, they booked me in a week before my due date but my waters broke a week before then so i had to have a emergancy c-section which happend really quick.

i was so angry with the care they gave us but im just glad i trusted my instinks and insisted some thing wasnt right or i might have lost my beautiful little girl. im so lucky i have her she is so perfect.
