Default Being a teenage mummy pt 1

OK, I was a very young Mummy. It was April 1999 when I first found out I was pregnant. I had been with my boyfriend (who I am still with now) for just 7 months and I was only 13 years old. I had never, and to this day have still never been that scared in my life. I knew I had skipped two periods but Mike and I had always been careful so I couldn't possibly be pregnant. Mike being older and a little more mature (only by 2 years!) persuaded me to go to the doctors and they did a test there and then which confirmed I was pregnant. I had all the routine checks and everything and it turned out I was 8 weeks gone already.
I continued the rest of the school year and did not tell my family until I really had to, which was when I really began to show at about 6 months. My family were supportive and I knew we would work through it together.
Louse arrived after 9 hours of intense labour at a healthy weight of 6lb 10oz. The moment I held her in my arms, the pain drifted away and so did I. She opened her eyes briefly and her lil eyes looked up at me and that was when I knew she was going to be the most amazing thing that ever happened to me....
