The birth of mine

with my 1st son I had a very long hard labor. From the time my water broke to the time he was born was 35 hours. Part of that wasn't bad but 17 hours of that was really hard pushing, painful labor.

My other 3 kids I only had 3-3 1/2 hours from start to finish with all of them. That was from the time my water broke to the time they were born, they were all very easy.

I really didn't mind labor to much, other than with my first which was so hard and painful!! With my other 3 the whole thing was so fast that by the time it really started to hurt it was already time to push, and it only took a few pushes and there they were

i was always told the more kids you have the easier it gets well in my case that was wrong.i have 5 kids the more i had the longer the labour and of course more pain.my 1st was 10 hours,2nd 13 hours,3rd 14.5 hours,4th 24 hours and my 5th 27 hours,all hard work but very much worth it.

when i had my daughter i was in labour from saterday to the tue morningthen i gave birth to her with the help off epidurel.when i had my son got induced in labour for 5 hours then they had about 5mins to get him out as he was suffocating when they broke my waters ,his umbilical cord when down before his head and it was getting crushed ,but all ended well,we have our wee man whos 3 next month.

my labour was 1 hours from start to finish went into labour at 11 in the morning by 3pm my contractions were getting quite bad my fiance phoned the labour ward , because i had a bad pregnancy in and out hospital with stomach pains i didnt believe i was in labour but i was 3 days past my due date, the midwife made me go in and by 9 my contractions were so bad i had to have gas and air, at 9.50pm i asked midwife for pethidine that didnt work so went back to gas and air , that was all oblivious to me for next 2 hours at 11.50 midwife popped my waters and i immeadiately started pushing at 12.27 40 mins later with 6 big pushes amelia margaret was out

i have had 3 c sections 1st time was a breech birth and the 2nd one was cos they told me she was gonna be huge and ended up 7ib and 81/2 onces and i was nearly there a normal birth but chicked out and now i reget that want a boy though as i have 3 very feisty girls

I agree with it being worth it. I would have gone through a long hard labor with all of them if I had to. My babies are my world and I am so grateful for them, they were definitely worth every minute and then some!!
