Default i thought mine was quick


i had my frist and only baby 2 days early and the labours was 3 hours and 49 min long i didnt have any contacts b4 my waters broke and then it felt like they didnt stop

wow.. that really was quick!! did u need stitches afterwards? usually do wit a quick birth!! my labours were 36 and 39 hours long!!! inc 2and half hours of pushing wit both!!!! yes i did say 2 and a half hours!!!1

o my god fingers crossed i never have one like that. no i didnt need stitches but i lost a lot of blood so i had to stay in over nite

gosh u really did have a nice steady biirth!! i had to stay in ova nite wit both mine too... more due to exhaustion than anything else tho... but i did loose more blood wit my 2nd!!

i quite like staying in hospital afterwards tho coz u get looked after for 24hours.. and i really needed lookin after... couldnt even walk!!! hehe

my healing time was quick tho... did u heal quickly too

took about 3 weeks. but i didnt enjoy my stay i hate hospital anyway and i didnt really get any help wasnt there fault there just anit enough midwifes

u hear that alot about not enough midwives!! makes me laugh coz i wanted to train to b a midwife but they turned me away coz i dint have the grades!!!!! funny thing is i was only one grade away!!!


such a shame as midwives r so important!!! i think thats why we dont c them as often now either coz they just dont have the time!!! im 18weeks pregnant and i'v seen my midwife twice and not seeing her again until 18th sept!!!! its just getting worse!!

i know its so bad it was just be and my other half in the room most of the time while i was in larbour think i saw 3 different midwifes and no midwifes were in the room when i started to feel the need to push my other half had to go and get someone and then the midwife said she could see him coming

its awful!!! i was lucky wit my 2nd as i had a trainee midwife wit us so most of the time i had 2in the room wit me!! but wit my i had 4different midwives!!! and 2of them were not the nicest of people!!

My waters broke at 1:45am got to hospital at 2:05am had her at 2:29am,, didnt even get booked in,, only just had time for the gas and air,, i went into shock after due to just how fast it was,, had to stay in over night till 11am then home to the troops
