Default My birth stories

with my first child (who is now 11) i was induced at 10pm in the evening and after a 1.50 hour labour gave birth to a baby girl called Lauren.
My 2nd child was born 10 weeks ago on christmas day after a 1 hour 20 minute labour. So all in all no complaints from me , but i will not be having anymore! Im glad i wasnt in labour for hours and hours like some!!!

hi. I have never had an epidural , just good old gas and air! If i had of been in labour for ages i think i would have gone for max pain relief going!!!
I did think about a water birth, but i hate going all wrinkly having spent too long in the bath, so not the best plan!

I was at the birth of my sister's son Caleb last August. She wanted a water birth and after her labour was in full swing they put her in the birthing pool. She was so much more comfortable in there and could cope with her pain better (only downside is you can ONLY have gas and air). Unfortunately it went belly up and she wasn't dilating so she had to get out and go on a drip. That's the closest I know of anyone having a water birth.
