my birth story

my daughter came 4 days early on th 12 december 2004, i was absolutely petrified, ppl kept telling me jus how painful labour is, probably a good thing as i was more prepared.i 1st started getting pains on the 10th coming every few minutes, rang the hospital told me 2 take paracetamol n go 2 sleep, i did and they went away, all that pain for nothing arrrggghhhh. then at around 9 o clock that nite i started getting bk pains, not bad considering but went 2 hospital any way decided they wanted 2 send me home as pains weren't strong enough but thought it best 2 check me 1st,
i was 4cms dilated,
they took me in and offered me gas and air dont think i really needed it but 1 of those things u jus gotta try lol. few hours later i actualy felt my waters break sounded like a pop, was funny really. gas and air was a bad choice as i needed 2 push my contractions decided 2 stop!!! was mortified i had 2 push 4 2 hous, the only part that really hurt, she finally arrived at about 6ish gas and air totally wiped me out.
all in all a really gud birth. i cant complain no where near as bad a ppl made it out 2 b.

yeh thats what i thought, ppl were like its the most painful thing ever etc and yeh i mean it did hurt but it was bareable. gas and helped me at first but then it was poo lol so had diamorphine and that was it.

weird ur heard a pop, do u always hear a pop when they break as so many girls on ere said they did but mine i didnt, it just came gushing out without a sound? lol

i didnt think i would hear a pop, but i did it was so wierd. i sed 2 my mam is it normal, it popped, was quite upset lol. she jus laughed n sed its different with different people.
labour is a funny thing hormones all over the place, i was really weepy, cried loads. x
