had hospital appointment and another scan(due to me prone to having diebetes in pregnany had to have a scan every appoinment).nurse confirmed baby was growing well,and said he was going to be a least 9lbs in weight,both me and hubby laughed.went to see the specialist who then booked me in to have my section on the 14th feb 2007 at 10.00am.
30th jan 2007
had another scan today baby was fine.saw specialist he joked with hubby we could have another 3 babies if we wanted,hubby nearly died,and we both said we see how he his when baby is born(been told he could be down syndrome.went home had tea,i had an early night by going bed about ten back was achin a bit and was tierd.
hubby came bed about 12.30 and asked how i was.told him i was no better,i put it down to me being constipated lol.went to toilet about one and just perched there,realised pains in mu back was getting worse,so i shouted hubby by this tme it was 1.30.told hubby think im in labour(didnt know what labour pains were because always have sections),he laughed a nervous laugh and said no way argg.we timed how long apart the pains were and realised they was every 3 mins,panick time,both agreed we needed to go hospital.hubby went to get stepson up(who got dressed in uniform bless thought it was time for aschool),i got dressed and we set off.got to the hospital about 2.15am and midwife said shed ring specialist and tell them get the theatre ready,and she sticks me in a room and said shell be back in a moment.she came back at 2.30am with a wooden thing and asked for a water sample,i goes to toilet and my waters break,panick time.midwife told me to lie on bed so she can see how dilated i was and hubby joked best hurry up with the theatre,she replied to late for that the heads here.4 pushes and baby thomas phoenix was born at 2.55am on the 31st jan weighing 6lb 8 oz.and im happy to report after the scare that he might be down sydrome he his a 10lb healthy baby boy,who has a club foot but hes lovely
