Default my laboiur was great

hi for being a first time mum i think my labour was great 6 hours in total but wud of been earlier if i had no pethadine (great stuff) oh and the gas and air (he he )erin was spine t spine wiv me so it was uncomfortable t say the least but as soon as i had the pethadine i was asleep (on the birthing ball) i was like a weeble wobble the only things i seem t memba is the midwife dropping the heart monitor on me knee and having t be told t get the gas nd air out my mouth as i dint hv a contraction but i liked hvn it in my mouth so i said i was hvn 1. the student midwife was a god send compared t the ova bga (the 1 the hit is) mind u as soon as i pushed erin out (10 mins of that) i was wide awake mind u i had t be the cord snapped as she came out blood squirting every where, girls hv shorter 1ns then boys or so im told.? good fun ill do it all again if i cud.

Hey Emzi, I bet it was lovely being wide awake afterwards cos my eyes literally shut as soon as Ruby came out. I didnt really bond with her for the first few hours cos I was knocked out, couldnt even give her the first feed cos I had no energy

Im Sarah, 24, got a little girl called Ruby (13months)
