 My labor story (long) | |
Okay so at 11:04 on friday night my contractions were6 min apart so my daddy decided we should go to the hospital to see if she was coming! By the time we got to the hospital my contractions were 5 min apart so they put my in triage to moniter them and the baby's heartbeat! The nurse checked me when we got there and told me i was 3 1/2 cm and she gave me a coke to drink to make the baby move to see if it would make me dialate more and said she would be back at 3:30 to see if i had dialated the 1/2 cm so she could admit me (it was like 1:00 at this point)! Well my contrations were coming regularly so the nurse said we're having a baby today and i was like yay! But after she left the baby's heartbeat dropped really low and all of a sudden the nurse came in threw me on my side and stuck her fingers inside of me! Then all of a sudden all these nurses rushed in, 1 put me on oxygen, 1 gave me an IV, and2 were getting the things unattached to move me into another room! I was so scared no one was telling me anything! Then my water broke and the nurse said your 6 cm lets get you admited! Come to find out she had her head stuck in a bubble of water and she couldn't breath! After i got moved into labor adn delivery everything went great i was only in labor 6 hours and only pushed for an hour and 18 min! I deliveredGeorgia Kim, my9 lb baby giurl at 7:18 on may 31, 2008 without any type of pain medication! No epi No morphine NOTHING! We are now at home and breastfeeding great! She is so perfect and i would do it all over again for her! Oh and some things i left out: I had 2 episiotamies (sp?) and she had a bowl movement while i was having her but everyones okay and I FEEL GREAT!
