I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 5 months and one day. I went for my scan and found out she was a girl. One night I was with my sister and her baby, watching Friends when my waters broke. I just sat there, couldn't move. I had no bag packed, nothing. My sister was running about around shops getting me the stuff I needed, my family where in Egypt and the only thing that was on my mind was to ring my work and tell them I couldn't work that night because I was in labour. Strange yes lol. Ended up going to the hospital with my dad and sister, and after they stabbed me in both of my bum cheeks with pethadin (sp) I ended up falling asleep for 3 hours. They woke me up to push, so after pleading with them to let me go to the toilet, I pushed out my little girl into the world, on my own with a trainee midwife and a nurse!! Oh and I forgot to mention they nearly dropped her. Then they took her out of the room, because they thought she was Downs. After getting a bath, going out for a fag with my dad I finally settled down next to Maddy. She needed the incubator ( was in hosp for a week ) Thats my story
