Well Adam was originally due 29th September 1986, of course that date went out of the window and finally on the night of 4th October 1986 i finally started feeling contractions. My poor husband at the time was on night shifts so he drove me quickly to hospital where i was then kept an eye on, The labour lasted until 8:30PM on 5th october and i was so tired and only delivered him on Pethadon/pethadine i can't remember now but anyway i was very tired afterwards...He weighed 8lb 9oz...Ouch lol!
Danielle's was completely different, I was due on 19th June 1989 which was my husbands birthday and we we're thinking how strange it would be if danielle arrived dead on lol!..And what happened?, that due date passed and eventually they said maximum date was 29th June 1989 and the day came and they said i'd have to be induced. So i went in around 1PM and stayed in to have her, the pumped the drip through my hand and kept turning it up until finally i felt very bad pain and my water break, i wanted pain killers but unfortunately i was too far gone to have some, so i delivered danielle naturally with no drugs but unfortunately for me...I tore!!...And thats the worse pain ever especially when your not doped up to the eyeballs on whatever you have....So by 2:50PM she was born and weighed a healthy 8lb exactly....
But i lost alot of blood with Danielle and they said i'd have to have a blood transfusion of course there was an A.I.D.S epidemic going around in the 80's so i refused flat out lol!....I also had 1 miscarriage between my son and daughter who would of been born in 1988 if the pregnancy was okay...I was about 15 weeks when i miscarried and was absolutely gutted when they wouldn't tell me what i'd lost...
