I am really hoping for a quicker labour this time, thats all i keep thinking at the mo as i aint got long to go. I can deal with the pain but it was just the tiredness that got to me last time. With Shannon my waters broke at 8pm wednesday night and i started to have some pain bearable but it got worst as it always does and by 8pm Thursday the doc tried to make it go faster but it didnt really work. They asked me if i wanted a c section on friday afternoon but i refused cos i wanted to know wot giving birth was like and i had gone this far so didnt wanna give up. Shannon finally arrived at 4.30am Saturday morning. A whole 56 and half later.

I know what you mean about how the tiredness takes over, all I wanted to do when Ruby was born was sleep it was awful.

I don't think pethidine helps, I had that with ellie-may and it was horrible, I was sleeping then waking with every contraction!

and i thought 39 hours was long.... shit i dont kno how u managed.... i was a wreck wit my2 and they weren as long as urs!!! i just hope this one is quicker!!
