Advice from all PND sufferers -this is on PND thread too | | I myself and just beginning to come out the other side of PND. I started up my own company about 5 months ago.
In a nutshell I sell jewellery via a website and via party-plan. I found that it really helped me to get out of the house and do things that I wouldn't ordinarily have done whilst suffering.
I am currently advertising for Self-employed consultants to do party-plan at coffee mornings, mother and toddler groups, house-parties etc, and would really like to focus on women with PND, because I felt that getting out and socialising via this type of work helped me immensely.
I'm not saying it will work for every woman out there, but your thoughts would be of great help to me, as I really want to be able to help and offer something for women suffering with PND.
A bit more info:
The support I give my consultants is huge, and I don't want or expect Consultants to get up and give a big speech about the products, as they actually sell themselves. I felt that this made my transition from not saying much at all to chatting at a million miles an hour much easier!
Does anyone have any thoughts they would like to share with me on this concept. I.e- do you think it's a nice idea or you wouldn't/won't go for it whilst suffering with PND. |
