anxious this weekend

well ladies i'm feeling a bit anxious this weekend as daz's dad is visting & daz hasn't seen him for over 20 years! so i'm hoping things will go well. i personally don't want benjamin calling him grandad i know that sounds harsh but he's hasn't proved himself to be a dad yet to daz let alone be a grandad & ben only knows my dad as his grandad! but daz said he doesn't mind ben calling him grandad but is going to tell his dad never to promise ben anything!

I can empathise with how you are feeling, infact in someways reading your post i could have written myself, (think that makes sense) we have the same problem within our families, my hubbys dad has only seen Ella twice since she was born, like your man my hubbys dad has not been much of a father to him let alone a grandad to Ella, at our wedding last year he even shouted at Ella for not calling him grandad, i nearly went loopy.

aww that's wicked i just think that he needs to prove himself a little to stay in touch but have to stand by whaat daz feels just don't want him hurting daz
