Hi, Jo! I went to Spain for a month last June-July and it's not scorchingly unbearable hot, but still very hot. I'd take him a light jacket for the flight if nothing else, but you'll only need suncream and swimwear if you're anything like us! and the nights aren't cold at all so don't worry about full pyjamas or anything (unless you've got the air conditioning on permanently!). Any kids suncream will do as long as it's factor 50+, and remember to do the top of his head and ears - even if he is wearing a hat all the time. Hope you have a fab time hunni and send us a postcard!

lucky so and so... how muchi'd love to go to spain!!!! i wud recommend getting sun block stick for ur lil' ones face.... easier to use and better coverage.. also even if u get water proof suncream makes sure u reapply after everytime u get out of water.. coz it only stays on while in the water.. not after drying!!! and also dont 4get his feet!!! plenty of suncream on them!!!

u'l have a gr8 time.. even tho there seems a lot to contend wit wen u have children.. i took my 2to florida last year in june.... so u can enjoy urself as well as worrying!!!

Default Spain in June

We went to Majorca several years on a row the last week in May 1st week in June and it did get a bit nippy on a night. However 2 years ago we went to mainland Spain at the end of July and last year for the middle 2 weeks in August and the kids never needed a cardigan/jacket at all & we were out some nights 'till after midnight.
The main difference we found was temp of sea/pool!
Take a jacket for on the plane as that can be quite cold sometimes and use one you could slip on for a colder night if needed.
Sun protection- my 3 had baby eczema and so i started with E45 sun cream but they were allergic to that so ended up with Boots own Soltan factor 50-fantastic stuff sprays on green so you know you've covered them all over and dries clear. Don't forget ears back of neck and top of feet.
Relax and have a fantastic time, a holiday is what you make it, believe me we have had some horrific times (that's a story for another day) but we always made the best of it. It is lovely just time for you, babe and hubby, no distractions like tv computer telephone and family etc.
Hope that helped good luck.
