we are ok but the high street in droitwich has flooded for the first time in 50 years. at peak it was 9 ft deep.its such a shame for all the shop owners, our local pet shop last its stock asd they could not get in to save any animals. the firemen pumped the street out for 16 hours on sat night it then had to be finished on sun. its such a mess.

yea it is a shame the owner is more heart broken about the animals than the shop. she had some beautiful lion head rabits in there. she also had rats, mice, hamsters, chinchillas, birds and guinea pigs. we got told that 1 guinea pig survived and has had 6 babies.

it was in todays paper that the firemen rescued a few hamsters, then when the owner went in on sun there were a few live hamsters floating in a bucket, its gonna take our shops in the high street months to reopen.all our parking is free at the mo to help the shop keepers out. ithink if they put free parking ppl will go to town more, i dont think it will work as most of the shops are shut due to the floods.
