Would like to hear from amybody else who has children the same and how they are coping, as there very demanding at times and try your pateince, amys a gr8 kid, but allways seems to get in the wrong place at the wrong time, if someone annoys her at school she tends to lose it lol.

I know how your feeling. My youngest Lauren has got another appointment tomorrow morning with a child development specialist because I strongly believe that she has ADHD. She's had me in tears with the things she has done, we get terrible temper tantrums off of her but is completely different at school. When I was pregnant with her I had to have loads of extra scans done because of problems with her head measurements and before I found out I was having her, I was on Seroxat for really bad PND after the birth of my second daughter. She has me tearing my hair out, she ran out from behind me into the middle of the road the other day, and there was a car coming......how I didn't kill her I'll never know!!! She's only 6. bless her, I love that little terror so much too.

Default hi

hi yeah,

yes it is hard i had to go through the path your going through and its taken nearly 3 yrs for someone to actually listen to me,amy can be a gr8 kid, but i go a phone call on firday from her teacher saying shes been involved in a fight and that she started it, i know shes been have in bad problems with a boy at school who has the same probs as may and worse im told, and the school shes only been at for 8 weeks sinc ewe moved to lincs, has been marvelous and very understanding with her condition, and they say its 6 of one and 6 of the other, where as her last school allways point the fingers at amy, shes no saint, i agree but shes not allways to blame.

shes been given a statement of special needs and has had this updated cos of the move, i have to go for a school review of her statemtn on the 2nd of april to see how shes progressing as she starts secondary education in september, shes had this prob since 7 yrs i noticed it, she now gets disability allowance and i get carers allowance for her, but the path i had to take to get her diagnosed was hard, first it was the doctors referral, as she was vilent and tried to suffocate my 3 daughter, then we got reffered to a child consultation unti in grays essex conplete waste of time that was, just kept listening to us and makeing notes, i lost my temper with them in the end and aske dfor more help through my gp,which he did and got referred to child developement clinin in basildon esses and saw a child physologist, he was ok, but got fed up with filling in forms in the end and getting now where.
went trhough social services special needs in the end and they wwere gr8 help.

anyway enough of me boaring the life out of you, hope this helps
you take care and let me know how you get on with your daughter.

all the best jen.
