Default The best kind of love?

As a young woman I always thought the best kind of love was having a man that loved me, looked at me like I was the only person in the world, and would always be there for me no matter what, but now I have to say that is not the best kind.

Since I have had children I have realized that there is no greater love out there than the love of a child, for me having children to love and feeling their love in return is the best there is.

That is not to say that I am not thankful for the love of my husband

So what does everyone else think?

Absolutely agree with you Nikki, although having the love of both my hubby and my kids is like no other

Yes i very much agree, there is no greater love than the love for your children. It is a great feeling there first smile first word first step, leaving out the pulling of the hair and hitting, lol. Being a parent especially a mother, lol, is the best.

Default loving my kids

I completely agree. The love i have for my kids keeps me going.
my kids give me a reason to laugh, a reason to get up each day and get through all the bad times whatever happens in my life i shall never take my babies for granted because i gave them life and in turn they made mine whole. and im not a publicly mushy person hehe

I love it when my kids call me mummy, or when they hurt themselves and you have to cuddle them better, Keira has just learnt to say love you and she sez it all the time, its so cute

As a teen I had a few devastating heart breaks and I prayed for someone to love me as much as loved them and I had a wonderful son 9 months later. But my prayers were more then answered.

I know what you mean c.a. lol its a warm feeling when your baby cant sleep unless he's in your arms or is not happy unless he can see you. (or in my case wants to be held 24/7 whether he's asleep or awake). its the most amazing thing having that total unconditional love from a child
