CRAVINGS!!!!

i have noticed that we do not have a topic about strange cravings during pregnancies!!!! tell us all about them here!!!

i never had really strange cravings but when i was pregnant with my youngest i loved the smell of fish!!! i used to really dislike fish until one day i was shopping in asda with my dad and we reached the fish counter... the smell was unbelievable.. i just stood there for about 5 minutes sniffing... passers by must have thought i was mad!!! i bought my first piece of fish that day and since then i love it!!! from cooked fish to raw fish!!! cant get enough of it!!! ha ha....

the craving with my daughter was ice cream!! during work i used to have to go out in my breaks and buy mcflurrys or mcdonalds milkshakes!!! my hubby had to go out quite a few times late at night just to get me ice cream!!! it was great!!!

With my first (a boy) I craved milk (I don't eat dairy) and used to drink it by the pint, then later on Ribena, but it had to be freezing cold from a carton!

With my second (a girl) it was penny sweets/pick 'n' mix/haribo type sweets.

With my third (a boy) it was croissants dipped in milky hot chocolate and traditional lemonade (but not in the same mouthful!).

With my last (another boy) it was ice/ice lollies/slush puppies!

I remember one evening I sent hubby to the local petrol station to get me a couple of slush puppies (had to be the red one!) and he'd just bought a brand spanking new transit van - it had about 8miles on the clock at the time. He couldn't hold the drinks and drive, and you guessed it, spilt the whole lot all over the dashboard! He was so angry when he got home and all I was bothered about was the fact he hadn't gone back for more!

at least they are nout too strange!!! lol... why does everyone think that ppl who like gerkins are pregnant!! i can remember once i was sat at work eatin sum gerkins coz i luv them and everyone automatically thought i was pregnant!!tehe!! my craving tho wen i was pregnant was aquafresh toothpaste... strange but i loved the stuff and had neva brushed me teeth so many times as all the time i was pregnant!! lol ***
