disappearing friends

well i noticed alot of odd comments about how friends well buggered off really when peeps had kids so i thought peeps might like to share or thrash it out on here come on girls say what you really think that they disappeared grrrrrrr no need to be nice about it on here lol

everyone grows up & moves on in life buts there will always be a selected few that stick around & those ones are your true friends.....

Yeah i agree with that. Unfortunately i've always been a bit of a mother hen, everyone wanted me to sort their problems our bur never really bothered about me. My best friend is probably my sister she always there no matter what. I'm quite guarded with people now as i got so sick of being there for everyone & having no-one for me. I'm lucky i got everything i need in my family.

well ive been quite lucky wit friends... well the ones that matter anyway!! i have my closest and dearest friend who i c regularly.. then another dear friend who i c as much as we can... another who has just moved away due to work commitments!! my friend who lives near london comes and visits twice a year... more if she can!!! then i have my friends who have children same age range as mine who i see at least 2-3 times a month!! and like i have said b4.. i have a large family!!! strange thing is tho... there r times where i still feel lonely!!! i think i have kept a lot of these friendships 2geva tho... coz im usually the one who instigates the meets!!! but i think its important to have friends!!! i'v also made new friends thru my hubby... so we go out in couples!!!

well my mate txt me and told me she had split with her bf who is gaz`s mate and i said oh i hope we will still be mates and she said yeh ill come round and c u tell u all about it so i said ok and she hasnt bothered with me since i fell like all the times she did bother with me it was only cos she had no 1 else so now i dont care she can piss off

i had a so called mate who we used to go out with each other all the time drinking she reakoned i was her best mate blah blah blah .... when i had benjamin she didn't even bother to come & see me buts whats worse is when my brother hung himself i got one phone call from her......mmmm when i confronted her about why she hadn't bothered with me she said " i was splitting up with my boyfriend who she regulary did this with" now i'm not speaking out of turn & everyone has their own issues but for **** sake my brother had just hung himself so regardless if i were splitting up from my boyfriend i would still take time out to be with a so called mate!arghhhhhhh haven't spoke since haven't got time for ppl like that.

what a bitch she probably didnt deserve a friend like u i dont have many friends but the 1s i do have id do anything for id give anything to have more friends like the saying is boyfriends come and go freinds are there forever!

I have a handful of really good friends that are there for me and me for them. Then I have loads of "friends" that you kind of talk to and know but wouldn't necessarily tell your secrets to or phone in a crisis. Know what I mean?! But I have different groups of friends from different places - mums at school, dancing, swimming, work etc so quite wide varied group.
I too have a big family and my mum and my sister are my best friends (hubby too but in a different way), but like Charley said, I can have lonely moments too!

Well unfortunately for me i a know an awful lot of people but not many that i would like to call "proper friends" the type u can rely on

I think that's the way when you get older though - you can count your "good" friends on 1 hand if you're lucky!
