| | Do i move, or do i stay ... Advice pleaseeeee | | Ladies, please please point me in the right direction!! out of the blew yesturday, we received a letter from the council for a transfer! They are offering us a 3 bed house, as we have tyler and tia who will soon be shareing! we went to have a look at the house, (the workmen was in it and let us have a sneaky look inside) the house is MASSIVE the front gdn could fit 4 cars on it (if it was a driveway) The back garden is quite big, but not as big as our current one! its haveing all new doors put on, a new kitchen, and a new bathroom! beleive me, when i say massive, i mean massive! the house is huge!! the man from the council wants to show me around it in 2 weeks when the work in it has finished!
Why am i unsure .................
ok as you know we built a huge gym down the bottom of the garden, its got all the gym equipment in it, we concreted loads of the garden, and put up 2 sheds, we have made the avery, we have now got a breeding room for the budgies, we have put up a 6ft fence all the way around the garden, we have lovely little features in it , we just layed loads of blue slate and white polar pebbles around the avery, and all this cost alot of money! considering the avery has only been there for about 6 weeks, and the gym aint even a month old, it seems too much to just get up and leave! i know i can take my avery, but we will need to concrete new bases for the sheds in the new house... and do loads of work to the outside of the garden as its full of shrubs and stones, and i would like alot of grass for the kids!
i just dont know wot to do, i have never in my life had to make such a big dicision as this! steve feels the same way as me...
Can anyone help me to think pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee xx |

| | what a big decision!
Is your present house 2 bedroom?
In all honesty, if I were in your position, I would take everything that I could from the house that you were in and take it to the new, bigger one. Space, in my opinion, is always a positive. Do you own or rent?
I totally understand how your muddled though, and it is waaay easier said than done. a lot of time, money and effort has gone into your house, and it's as you like it....
Bottom line is, it's up to you, obv, but I think a list of pro's and cons should be made up very soon and then see how you feel
Sorry I'm not of more help :/

| | You lucky person having a choice! Ive been on council list for ages and I cant get anything! Im currently renting privately and costs a fortune! lol
Moving to a bigger house sounds great but you must think of the extra costs in running a larger house......heating/electric/general up-keep etc........is it something you can financially afford etc?
Im crap with decisions like this hun Im afraid.........I know I would take the bigger house, new back garden or not, like said, it can be rebuilt over time!
Good luck
xx

i dont feel lucky rara, i feel dreadfull with a head that throbs lol.
Its not the simple things that i worry about leaving behind like the plants etc, its that massive gym hubby has just built, and disturbing my birds! also where we are now, we are not over looked by other houses, and this new place, you have houses all around ya!
