Im working towards not going back, im a overpayments specialist (bit of a debt collector, but im a nice one with a heart lol). I wouldnt miss not going back, id just miss the adult conversation I think. Its just me and baby at home during the day until hubby gets home. All my family and most of my friends are miles away

But ive recently started designing posters etc (promotional stuff) for a friend who is a singer, and she was so impressed that she insists I should start up my own business, just need to make up some business cards and she'll hand them around to her contacts, if i get much interest then maybe i'll do that instead (fingers crossed) hehe

Hi I work 2 days a week (16 hours), so I get to stay at home with my boy 5 days. I need the stimulation of work and adults. Aidan is really sociable and loves Nursery.

I used to feel guilty about leaving him as he was very sensitive to crowds and other children, but found that after a while Nursery actually brought him out of himself, and he loves it now.

I agree, I was thinking of working an extra day (3 days), then I felt too guilty and would miss Aidan too much. They drive you mad at times, but you wouldn't have it any other way. Full time doesn't feel right, I didn't have Aidan for someone else to bring him up.

I'm like that - I don't want anyone else to bring up my children. I want all their influences to come from me (and a bit from hubby, although not too much! lol). I'd never, ever judge somebody who does work full time, only commenting on my own personal situation. I'm also friends with a stay at home dad whose wife works full time which is quite rare, and he loves it!
