my husband is 52 and i am 31 we have 2 kids together plus 3 from my previous marriage.people are always saying the age gap matters,me personally i dont care i know he is 52 but he is more like 25 and i love him loads.

Personally i dont think it matters, as long as you both love each other, then who cares what other people think. your age gap aint really too bad, i was watching jeremy kyle the other day, and the man was 58 and the girlfriend was 18,

nah the age gap is a load of old poo it doesn't matter at all there's 5 years difference between me & my lover & we are happy anyway everyone always says he's older than me i like them i do!!!!! my god mother re-married after her husband died her husband is 31 & she is 65 good on her i say!!!! (wip)

i agree, age isn't really an issue at all, as long as you are both happy. i am 10 years older than my hubby, he's 25 and i have just turned 36, he will be 26 later in the year. he is older for his age and i am younger, so we meeet in the middle quite well.

im 29 n my df is 53 n we get on brilliantly had a few ups n downs but were still here lol
my husband was 26 yrs older than me n we had a lot of ups n downs (he was an alcoholic) but all in all we were very very happy n i still miss him now (he died three years ago)
personally i prefer older men (as my track record indicates lol) its a personal thing
as long as the people involved are happy i dont think age matters at all, it is really just a number
each to their own
other peoples attitudes drive me nuts tho most people assume hes my dad (we like to confuse em by having a very public snog ) or that im with him for his money (he aint blooming got any lol) but most people have been great about it. a lot of our friends just said 'about bloody time' when we got together cos ere so good together
shame we live in a society where how old you are matters more than WHO you are
