Easter bonnet parade

My boys have a easter bonnet parade next wednesday. My youngest Alfie is in nursery & the children will make theirs in nursery, so thats one out the way. My problem is my 6 year old Lewis who doesn't want to have one but wants to be in the parade. Last year I used cardboard which he painted blue. I then got green paper & put in paper shredder for grass, just shredddde the tips & then he drew around a rabbitt stencil , cut them out & stuck them on. He then had cooton wool as clouds. He wants to decorate a egg, but their year has to have bonnet. Does anyone else have the same problem

nope but one way of getting him to wear it is to tell him that if he wears it he will get a special prize all of his own that should do the trick. if he asks what tell him well it wouldn't be a surprise if i told you!!

i haven got that problem yet!!! and im dreading it wen i do coz i'v no artistic imagination at all!!! my poor kids will be in binbags 4everything!!! ha ha... get a pic of them 4us!!! be nice to see them all dressed up!!

I'll have to give it ago, i always seem to bribing my kids lol They never put this in any of the handbooks. I don't see why they can't have the choice of what they want to do. Iam crap at being arty! When i get pics i'll post them for you
