Eclipse on saturday 3rd march 2007....... did u see it?

Hi did anyone see the eclipse last night? They recon the moon turned really orange! here is a pic and a bit about it for those who is interested ....

The eclipse began at 2018 GMT, with the Moon totally immersed in the shadow of the Earth between 2244 and 2358 GMT.

During "totality" the Moon took on a reddish hue; the only light reaching its surface by this stage had been filtered through Earth's atmosphere

The eclipse was visible from the whole of Europe, Africa, South America, and eastern parts of the US and Canada.


The copper-red Moon was visible across large areas of the UK thanks to clear skies.

Yeah i saw the eclipse!!
It was great i watch it as i drove through three counties from Essex to lincolnshire on my way back home from my Mums house. it was spectacular!! I wish i had had my camera with me!!

WOW...... it must of looked really good i totally forgot about it, so did hubby! i got them pictures from of a news article. i have seen it once before, few years back, wish i had seen this one!

Camera's are never close by when we need them lol

Apparently they happen every six years or so ive heard, so plenty of time to see another dont worry!

thanx guys... im defo gonna keep my ears open coz i'd really like to c one!! think the look amazing!! i love things like that tho!!! i like it wen the moon is massive and red.... any1 kno wot i mean!? also the red sky at sunset!!!

Didn't know anything about it til right this moment! Was looking after my 4 month old great neice that night!
