End of an Era

Well my daughter is all grown up, well sort of! She has now been totally weaned off her bottles! Shes taken her milk from a spout cup in the morning for a while but was having trouble getting her to drop the bottle at bedtime. But for the last few nights shes taken her bedtime milk from her spout cup!

Its the end of an era. i felt quite sad today as I put all her bottles/teats away, strange I know, but I just felt sad about it. DOnt get me wrong Im over the moon shes off them, it just means shes not a baby anymore if you get my meaning!

Ah well. Just thought I would share that with you all.

aww huni i no how you feel, when ben was small i use to get so upsept at every thing that meant that he was growing up, even when he grow out of clothes i use to be so sad thinking that he wasnt going to be baby for long. thats good that she is off the bottle sounds like shes doing well. ***

Its like now when I think about it I havent got much longer of my pregnancy too go... even thats gone quick so cant imagin what it like when they grow up so fast once they out.

Its really scary how time passes. SOme days I feel bad as it all seems such a blur. Its just gone too quickly. Its only when I look back at photographs of her when she was born at 4lb 9oz that I can remember how tiny she really was. Its strange how you forget.

I agree with you all. Time does go too quick with kids, when lewis turned 1 thats when my broodyness started & then 10 months later we had Alfie. When It was Alfie i went through same motions but knew i didn't want anymore, it was just he wasn't my baby anymore, so to speak. But 2 weeks after his 1st birthday i found i was pregnant with leah which was a huge surprise. Funnily enough i never went through same motions when she turned 1. Too busy lol plus she was really forward for her age & is now very old headed for her age!!
