friends!can u really trust them?

Last year a good friend my hubby and i went shoppin, at the bank she watched wot pin numba my hubby put in,and stored it in her mobile.she stayed at my house that nite. the next day we noticed my hubbys card ad gone from his wallet.we reported it missin that morn,the bank told us it ad been used 2 draw money out.after reportin it 2 the police,a month lata she was arrested,she addmitted stealin the card and emptyin the account(which put us in debt),it went 2 court,she got 18 months conditional discharge and has 2 pay the bank back.All we got was distress and upset.we now find it hard 2 trust anyone,and dont allow friends in r home.I know some people can b true friends, i thought she was 1,but who would steal of a friend?

hi clare bear, the law in this country sucks, what law we have anyway!

Seems to us that people can go out and knick anything and not get punished for it!

Dont know what the world is comeing too. It stinks!

i agree,the thing is the judge said my hubby and i caused her upset,coz we sat in the public gallery.load of rubbish!!!!!

I can't believe somebody could do that?! I am either naiive or stupid - I am completely gobsmacked!

we were totaaly gobsmacked when the bank told us r account had been emptied,i nearly fell 2 the floor.the thing is it was 2 days b4 r weddin anni,so we could not celeberate plus she knew we were going through some probs,i dont think people like that deserve a 2nd chance,i saw her the other day 4 the 1st time since court,i ad 2 keep my cool believe me it was soooooooooooooooooo hard

How long had you known this woman? You obviously trusted her or she wouldn't have stayed in your house. I am really lucky, I have a handful of really good friends who would do anything for me, as I would for any of them.

id known her 4 16 years,we were like sisters she helped me at my wedding.i trusted her alot,i dont know y she did it,i think she got 2gether with the wrong lad.im not sure if her was pressurein her 2 get money,she stole money from her 3 year old nephews bank account too.SAD OR WOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so utterly speachless! 16 years of friendship and she stabs you in the back? That's disgusting behaviour and I hope she never manages to get close to anyone again.

not if i av my way she wont.she lives in the same town as me,everyone i know i tell,most of the people i know,know her.we struggle with money like everyone else,and we even gave her hot meals when none of her friends or family would put her up.we know y now.im thinkin of writin 2 take a break and namin and shamin her

Not a bad idea - she deserves everything she gets.

But, what goes around comes around, and she'll get hers....................
