Happy St Georges Day everyone! Be proud to be English!!

This is my nephew dressed as St George! We make a big thing of this day every year so we had a party in the local club on Saturday night and had a bouncy castle and street party yesterday, all the neighbours chipped in some money and we had a great day! So good when all the neighbours get on !

Did you do anything or are you doing anything to celebrate St Georges Day

how lovely!! i think its gr8 that u celebr8d it!!! we'r not doing anything but i think they shud make it a public holiday.. a workplace in norfolk has let their staf fhave the day off to try and start it of!!

aaawww! Such a shame the pubs dont make such a big event of it like they do with St Patricks Day

Im at work this afternoon but the pub is decorated with england flags & banners. Most of the regulars have the day off work its usually really busy but a good day. I just hope it's not too busy :smile:

I'm sure I read somewhere there had been a debate on makingit a public holiday but some people went mad or something. About racism I think? Weird country!

do yah know im sick of this racism thing in this country im not racist what so ever but they chose to live hear so why not celebrate it if they dont want to fair enough but why go mad
