My daughter Millie (8 years) has got through to the National Finals (dancing) for the 3rd year running! She got a silver for singing in 2005, silver for modern 2006 and her ballet has gone through this year! She's performing in Hammersmith, London on 12th May so I'll let you know how it goes!
My son Cameron (9 years) has just got through to the Surrey finals to play chess (I dunno where he gets that from!) on Sunday! He does chess club after school on Mondays, I didn't even realise he was any good, and his teacher just brought him home to ask me if he could go, so I'll keep you posted about that too!
well done debs i'd be proud also bet that makes you feel real good about yourself i know it would me knowing that my children are doing something productive with their lives rather than hanging around the street!
I feel great! I'm so bursting with pride I could cry!
I feel like everybody should know how great my kids are because I hate the stereotyping of young mums not being good mums as I had Cameron when I was 16 but this just goes to show that it's not the case!
