I've started my new job!!

Well this week has been my first proper week in my new job as a Community Champion- sounds as though i should wear a tracksiut & have a bagde lol. I work in the local school & it's my job to arrange activites & courses etc for parents, whether it be educational or just for good old fun & to build up a better relationship with the school & local community. I have been given a disused classroom which i have tied all up this week i'm also getting a budget for furniture & the room will be transformed into a parents room!! All i have to do now is get surveys out to get feedback on what parents want to see happen & then arrange a weekly coffee morning perhaps. There are always mums & tots for younger children etc but they always seem clicky so i'm gonna do my best to give the oppurtunity for parents to be able to meet & relax without the whole clicky set up hehe
Being a parent is great but such hard work & at times lonely, so am gonna bust a gut to hopefully make things easier lol
