thats a bit like me its the pits

i had kids and suddenly found myself lonely. many people don't bother to ask if you have kids. we are probably the most deserving peolpe of a good night out

yeh we are i havent had agood night out for ages, just found out tonight anyway they had changed their night out to tonight so wouldnt have bben able to go out anyway so me are going to the lcal pub for a meal and a drink so at least it somet cos hes paying lol

Hubby dont go out, nor do i. we have nights in together wich i think beats going out and wasting lots of money

i would rather site on the sofa with hubby on a friday night, snuggled up with a good horror dvd rather then go out and get drunk!

Least by not going out, i can drive the next day

Dont know what u other ladies think but also, me and my hubby feel we should be here for our kids, dont dump them on some1 just so we can go out to the pub! We had the kids, its our responsability. We had our nights out at the pub b4 the kids come along, now we need to step back from that, be a responsiable parent and wait untill there older, then have our freedom back! Thats what we both think anyway!

i love going out!!! altho just recently we've had our friends here instead of going out!!! i dont feel like im dumping my kids on others!! my father in law loves to babysit for us and i think its good to have a break now and again!!! ur life dont have to stop just coz u have kids!! whether that means getting a babysitter or having people round or just a lovely nite in front of tele wit a good film!!!

me and gaz mostly stay in on a saturday with a takeaway but were going the pub tonight together because we havent for ages, rileys nana looks after him on a saturday and i would never ask any1 else to look after him and i have never palmed him off because i agree that i had him so i have to look after him and it has always been like that since he was born i took him everywhere with me and i still do, i would go out if his nana werent there to look after him cos i wouldnt leave him with some1 random

I go out sometimes with my friends and Chris goes out with his and we also have nights out together. Your live doesnt stop because you have children and i too do not think that having the children looked after by grandparents or sisters is any thing to worry about. I certainly dont feel that we are 'dumping' them. Just because you have children it doesnt mean you have to be with them 24/7.What does everyone else think? Lets have a good old debate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me & stuart only go out if my kids are stayinh overnight at my moms, which more of a treat for the kids than us to be honest. I wouldn't leave my children with anyone else than my mom & dad or my sister. I know that i can trust them 110% to look after them :smile:

there r only a select few that i wud leave my children wit but i have a big family!!! i got 4 sisters to choose from my parents, hubbys dad, sis in law and also my closest friend!! oh and my cousin!!!

but i wud neva eva leave them wit a stranger just so i cud go out!!! childminders etc to go bak to work is a different matter completely!!
