Nobody has our kids! I think it's coz there's so many and I really feel like a liberty taker if I ask! We only go out of an evening (if we ever do) that way they're all in bed and don't actually need "looking after". Couldn't tell you the last time we both went out together though! I go out with my friends, he goes to football or whatever, so one or other of us is always at home.
If I have somewhere to be during the day, my best friend doesn't mind having them as she has 4 kids too and knows how hard it is (also, I have her kids on a friday afternoon for a couple of hours and dinner every week while she's at work).
First choice is always my mum, very rarely his mum, and that's it really!
