mum and toddler groups

i've been going to a young mums group for 3 years now, but have to leave after the summer coz my son ben goes to nursery. im going to be so upsept leaving have met some really good friends and we have had the greatest of times, mainly with drink not going to lie.

Have any of you been to parent toddler group, if so do you have any funny stories

I havent sorry as I am pregnant with my first child. But I look forward to going to ANC's and meeting mums to be and making friends.

Same with me i cant wait to go to ANC's and meeting new mums i hopes i wont be looked down on! lol but i cant wait either!

well i go to a young mums group and its the best ever. i was 18 when i had my wee one i found it quite hard at first to find people my age with children so felt really lonley. so i went to the local young mums group. and i've been there ever since. i met some of my closest friends there. they are all most like family to me now some of them

i've been to parent & toddler but i sometimes find them too clicky & stuff but each to their own as long as you enjoy it hun thats all that matters x

I dont mind what age people are... I'l talk and be friends with anyone. Just nice to chat to someone who's going thru the same thing you are regardless of age. hehe

i go to mother and toddler.. i'v tried a few and like pinky.. found them clicky but the 1 im at now is lovely!! :-) but also my lil girl started nursery in oct and i'v made some gr8 friends from there... so u'l meet even more friends now!! :-)x nursery schools r fab 4meeting new people!

I used to take Jess to the Salvation army one when she was younger it was ok but there was always a click there and some of the mums looked down on the less fortunate one if u no wot I mean

I wld love to go back to somethin like tht but I aint havin ne more kids lol 2 is enough thanks x

doesnt sound like anyones had a good experience at mother and toddler groups. i must admitt alot of groups can be very hard to fit in, and it would make me feel uncomfortable aswell.
