Default Not in your condition!!

Hi, maybe this is me, but does anyone else get annoyed when your told you cant do something because of our "condition" Like we are contagious or something? And when people wrap you up in cotton wool and try and stop you from doing normaly everyday things? Surely we know our own limits by now? I told my Kev that if he said it one more time, I'd be forced to strangle him!!! Ive told told him, If I didnt think I could do something or that it was going to harm me or the baby, I wouldnt do it, well what do you think? Have I over-reacted  :!: :!:

Hi mumof3 i feel exactley the same as you lol. Yes we know our own limits, we dont need to be told everytime we want to do something!
You see alot of women when there pregnant acting so delicate, and wont do anything. i worked up to the day i went into hospitial to have my son.i worked doing home work, cutting books, counting books, boxing books up etc, it was easy and considering my size, coss at 5 months pregnant i looked like i was well past my due date, anyway i was working the morning that i had to go into hospitial, its mad but i felt ok doing it.
a old mate of mine who i mett when i got my 1st home used to make me laugh when she was pregnant, she would hoover, or do washing up etc, and deff not go out to buy a pint of milk, it was rediculas!

So ..... NO... your not over reacting

I agree with you!! I hated that when I was pregnant!! I am a very independent person, I don't like to rely on others and I didn't while I was pregnant, I did everything as normal. The way I saw it was I was "only" pregnant, I wasn't now a china doll that would break just because of it. I took precautions where I felt I should and life went on as normal.

I totally agree. My other half fussed and fussed when i was pregnant, when i felt fine, it's now i've had him, you know when you feel so sore that everything seems hard, that i'd like the fuss. But now he thinks i'm super woman, as soon as the baby is out they think your normal again. I feel anything but. I'm like a walking zombie! Could do with someone cooking my tea now!

I had a normal birth, water birth. But its the stitches and backache after wards that hurt. And serious lack of sleep.
