Phew its over...

Would love to let you all know that my o/h's deployment in the land of sand has now ended and he landed safely into Cyprus today at 12.00 midday to stay there for 24 hours for him and the boys to relax.... although its straight back to work again when he comes home. Had a wonderful phone call at 12.30pm to let me know he was safe and sound and he sounded so happy, me too I was dancing round the room at the time and afters lol. Thank god its all over

how long did u say he was away?and when he comes back will he be working closer to home? also just wondering have u posted a pic of yourself yet in the members pics section yet?

He has been away nearly 7 months now although we did see each other for a week and half on his rest during this time but that is all I have seen of him within the 7 months.other than that letters and phone calls....yeh he wont be too far from home...he will be home next weekend...which is his next time off...so cant wait for that...sooner than I thought...his big leave for 3 weeks is middle of June thought we were gonna have to wait till then but thankfully no...they are being nice for once and letting us know early!!!!! No I haven't but I will do thanks for asking that
