| |  poem i wrote when i was younger (upsetting?) | |
just found this while sorting my bank statements wrote it when i was about 14 (damn some my bank statements are missing hope i didn't throw them in the bin...sigh im lucky if i did
anyway poem
i wonder why i gave it to you
when i knew my life would soon be over
i wonder why i take my blade
then put that preasure on my skin
but when i see what crimson river
you're nothing to me and neither are my fears
a day without cutting
just wouldn't seam right
but i don't do this for you
or an attension seak
i do it through my honesty
to show you
i'm just too weak
too weak to smile
too weak just to cry
and too weak to ask for help
so i'll put that blade back
back in it's special place
till i use it agian
and this might seam wrong to you
but to take away my only life line
just wouldn't be fair
this is who i am
and this is who i shall be
so i don't care what you have to say
because it means nothing to me!

yes it was written about myself and no i do no longer self-harm, been cut free since July

well done!! :smile: i cant imagine wot u were going thru at the time to feel only place u cud tur was self harm... but so glad that things r betta for u!! and now u have us to turn to!!

just found this now and that is an amazing poem,by reading it,there is so much passion there.im really glad to hear that you are no longer doing this,as i can relate to you on this matter and know how it feels,i also had this issue and am cut free for around 2 years now{since i had my son}.good for you girl for not letting it take you over,
